Handmade this sterling silver 4-sided polygon shaped pendant of Vesta or Hestia is set in a sterling silver frame accented with two 4 millimeters round rose-cut Blue Topaz (0.60 carat.)  The necklace is 18 inches long, and the 2.3 mm flat cable chain and lobster clasp are sterling silver.   The charm in the frame measures 1 1/2 inches wide, 2 inches long and weighs 25.8 grams.  

Greek Goddess Vesta or Roman Goddess Hestia is symbolized as the Protector of the Hearth, the Keeper of the Flame, and the Goddess Holds the Palladium in her hand.   Vesta or Hestia necklace features a first generation casting from Mon Coeur’s rare collection of intaglio impressions. MC's plaster of Paris impressions were made from the first 500 pieces from, the avid art collector, Polish Prince Stanislaus Poniatowski 2,500 commissioned gem intaglios.

The Prince lived in Rome between 1754 and 1833.  These numbered miniature masterpieces are original art inspired by reading the literature of Greek mythology of the god, goddess, heroes, and heroines.

This impression collection was previous owned by UK General Sir Alexander Walker (1764-1831) and his son William Stuart Walker (1817-1896).  The collection was held in a small wooden curio case being admired by a select few.
