This woman's 14 karat blue sapphire and diamond 3-stone engagement ring features an oval shaped, deep blue sapphire center stone, two (2) round diamond side stones and six (6) diamond accent stones three (3) on each ring shoulder.
The oval sapphire measures 5 millimeters long X 3mm wide and 0.35 carats. The full cut diamond stones are 3mm round and 0.10 carats (0.20 tcw). The round diamond accent stones are 1mm in size and 0.005 carat each or total diamond weight is 0.03 carat. All diamond and gemstone measurements and carat weights are approximate.
The three major stones are securely set in a basket style setting with single prong type and a 4 prong count. The bead and bright cut or pinpoint setting style nicely accents the diamonds set down the shank shoulders. The ring is a size 4; it is in good condition and is rhodium plated.
