This Mid-century modern solitaire diamond ring features a 1.45 carats stone. The lovely round 7 millimeters stone is set on a 14 karat yellow gold traditional shank. It is a slim 2.5 mm across at the shoulders and tapers to 1 mm wide at the base.
The 2 mm shank decreases to 1 mm wide. The half round shank securely holds the 6-prongs white gold peg head and the 1.45 carats diamond. Size: 6 ¾ US or 17.128 mm.
This engagement ring is from a wonderful New Orleanian Estate of which the owner was an advocate for the New Orleans Audubon Park Zoo animals. Her work began in the 1960's and continued for many years.
