Mid 20th Century Faux Pearl 2-Strand Bead Necklace Warm White, Light/Dark Taupe Pearls, Topaz Crystals 13, 14 Inches Long plus 3 1/2 Inches Extension Chain

This vintage faux pearl bead necklace is a warm combination of brown and white. The necklace features light and dark shades of taupe glass beads ranging in size from center pearls at 18 millimeters to 9 mm. There are baroque shaped warm white pearls scattered throughout ranging in size from 15 mm thru 9 mm. To add to the drama of this sparkling necklace there are eight round faceted 10 mm topaz colored aurora borealis finished crystals and four saucer shaped ones that measure 8 mm by 6 mm. Each bead is separated by a 4 mm round brass bead and six taupe pearls are accented with decorative brass bead caps.

From the tip of the hook clasp to the end of the choker is 13 1/2 inches at which point there is the 3 1/2 inches long bead extension chain. There are six areas between the 7 millimeters beads on the extension chain where one can securely hook the clasp. The second strand drapes nicely underneath at 14 inches. The necklace strands are connected to metal decorative connector links.
